In a nationally televised address from New Orleans on September, 15th, President Bush indicated that the federal government will pay most of the costs associated with the rebuilding of areas devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
"Federal funds will cover the great majority of the costs of repairing public infrastructure in the disaster zone, from roads and bridges to schools and water systems," Bush said.
The exact cost of the reconstruction is unknown, but it is estimated that it will cost hundreds of billions of dollars.
Bush also declared September 16th as a national day of prayer.
We all continue to pray for the Hurricane Survivors.
God bless them all.
We love them and will ALWAYS pray for them and help them.
